Job summary

Cimarron is seeking Software Engineers to design, develop, test, and integrate the Axiom Space Commercial Space Station software in Houston, TX. The roles involve working on software for commercial human spaceflight modules across propulsion, C&DH, ECLSS, GN&C, C&W, networks, and more.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of related experience and strong skills in C, C++, Rust, VHDL, and Python in Linux. A BS in a technical field is expected, with good communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of related experience.
• Experience developing code in languages such as C, C++, Rust, VHDL, and Python in a Linux environment.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or another related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, integrate, and deploy software solutions for propulsion, C&DH, ECLSS, GN&C, C&W, networks, datalinks, power, and other flight systems.
• Design, develop, test, integrate, and deploy software in prototype, simulation, and flight environments.
• Communicate with subject matter experts across disciplines, users, and management.
• Maintain disciplined software configuration control and management processes.
