Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain firmware for custom hardware platforms. You will work with STM32 microcontrollers and SOCs to implement, debug, and optimize system functionality, and collaborate closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless software-hardware integration.

The role involves code reviews, testing, and documenting embedded systems, with hands-on debugging across SW-HW interfaces.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Experience designing and debugging embedded software/firmware for hardware platforms.
Solid understanding of C/C++ and hardware abstraction layers.
Experience with STM32 microcontrollers.
Experience with RTOS and low-level driver development.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain embedded software and firmware for custom hardware platforms.
Work with STM32 microcontrollers to implement, debug, and optimize system functionality.
Work with SOCs (AR2G2/1, XR2G2/3) to implement, debug, and optimize system functionality.
Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation of embedded systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to embedded software and hardware interaction.
Develop and integrate solutions for FPGA platforms, including Gowin and Xilinx devices.
