Tecnova is seeking a senior embedded firmware engineer to join our team of professionals and contribute proven expertise to creating cutting-edge technologies in Illinois. This role focuses on architecting, designing, debugging, and delivering firmware for ARM-based devices.

You will work across hardware and software teams, develop bare-metal and RTOS-based firmware, USB/Ethernet/Modbus, Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth LE, and secure bootloaders, with on-site work at our Waukegan facility and occasional remote

Qualifications

• BS degree or higher in an engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, document and implement firmware for embedded devices.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to deliver production firmware.
