Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience developing embedded software and firmware for hardware-based products, devices, or systems.
• Proficient in C/C++ with production firmware development and debugging expertise.
• Hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining embedded Linux systems.
• Experience using Yocto Project to create, customize, and maintain embedded Linux distributions.
• Proven ability to diagnose complex issues across hardware/software boundaries and deliver sustainable solutions.
• Strong collaboration across hardware, software, QA, product, and cloud teams.

Responsibilities

• Firmware development for XM4, Blackbird, and BigBuddy initiatives.
• Mentor engineers and support onboarding of new engineers.
• Drive CI/CD pipeline improvements and firmware standardization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and deliverables.
• Design and implement APIs, backend services, and automation tasks with team guidance.
• Ensure scalable, secure cloud-ready applications and reusable components.
