Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for its Power Components Division. This hybrid role offers a mix of on-site and remote work at Moon Township, PA. The candidate will design firmware for control and monitoring systems, collaborate with global teams, and resolve product issues. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and at least 3 years in embedded software development. The salary range is $86,000 to $126,000 annually, with relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in embedded software development.
• Experience with low-level hardware interfaces (ADC, PWM, UART, SPI, I2C).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems using JTAG and In‑Circuit Emulators.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software for control and monitoring systems.
• Test own work and others' work, meeting quality and reliability goals.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams on firmware design.
