Job summary

Meta is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize firmware for AR/VR hardware and wearables. Work spans kernel, drivers, and low-level systems to enable high bandwidth, low-latency performance across Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Core Android networking.

You will collaborate with silicon teams, OS, and model development to push advanced computer vision, ML, and graphics features in a rapidly evolving platform.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of software development experience and 3+ years in embedded software.
• Experience with large-scale C/C++ code bases and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Hands-on coding with peripherals and experience with low-power SoCs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement firmware across kernel to application layers.
• Develop drivers and services for constrained devices with high data throughput.
• Lead hardware bring-up, silicon integration, and power/performance optimization.
