Job summary

Apex Bridge Talent Group is seeking a Sr. Embedded Systems Firmware Engineer for an on-site role in Irvine, CA. Direct hire/full-time (contract possible). You will architect, design, and implement application-layer firmware for complex real-time systems.

Requirements include 5+ years in embedded C/C++, RTOS, system-level control logic, CAN/SPI/Ethernet, and model-based design with MATLAB/Simulink; experience with SIL/HIL testing and cross-boundary integration is essential.

Qualifications

5+ years of embedded control software for real-time systems.
Strong proficiency in embedded C/C++ and real-time software architecture.
Experience designing system-level control logic, state machines, and sequencing.
Hands-on experience with CAN, SPI, Ethernet, or ARINC (825/664).
Experience with model-based design tools (MATLAB/Simulink) and SIL/HIL testing.
Proven ability to integrate and debug software across hardware, firmware, and system boundaries.
Strong analytical and system-level problem-solving abilities.
