Job summary

Saxon Global is seeking a Sr Embedded Platform Engineer in Irvine, CA to design, implement, and optimize embedded firmware for real-time systems. You will work closely with hardware teams to integrate software, validate performance, and ensure reliability across MCU peripherals.

The role requires 5+ years in embedded firmware with strong C/C++, experience on TI C2000 or NXP MCUs, and hands-on hardware bring-up and HIL testing. On-site position in Irvine, CA with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing embedded firmware for real-time systems.
• Strong proficiency in embedded C/C++ and real-time firmware architecture.
• Experience with real-time microcontroller platforms such as TI C2000, NXP, or comparable.
• Hands-on experience with MCU peripherals like CAN, SPI, Ethernet, interrupts, timers.
• Experience supporting hardware bring-up, lab validation, and HIL testing.

Required Qualifications
