Job summary

Morey Corporation seeks a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to drive embedded firmware across lifecycle stages. You will design modular, reusable code, perform unit testing, and document software while leading troubleshooting and research as needed.

Responsibilities include RTOS/Linux software for microcontrollers, architecture leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• 5-10 years of related firmware experience.
• Minimum 5+ years in C/C++ programming language.
• Comfortable leveraging AI agents for software development activities.
• Strong embedded OS and RTOS knowledge and experience integrating into embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Create embedded software for microcontrollers and microprocessors, including RTOS and embedded OS like Linux.
• Lead firmware architecture and design for multiple programs and produce intuitive design documentation.
• Assist in developing product requirements for new and existing products.
• Adapt new technologies based on industry and market demand.
• Maintain productive relationships with technical and nontechnical personnel.
• Debug embedded systems using schematics and review designs for embedded applications.
