Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Software Engineer for embedded and mission software integration within Anduril Cyber. You’ll own software from device control to backend services, coordinating across hardware, edge devices, and data products to enable critical mission capabilities.

Required are strong C/C++, Python, Linux experience, with FPGA/SoC exposure and the ability to work across teams. TS clearance is preferred for this role and you’ll help deliver scalable software for national security

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering in C, C++, Python, Go, Rust, or TS/React.
• Hands-on embedded Linux, board bring-up, bootloaders, drivers.
• Experience building APIs/backends that connect to hardware-adjacent systems.
• Ability to debug across the full stack including hardware boundaries.
• Experience designing maintainable software architectures.
• Collaborates across teams to translate requirements into clean interfaces.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for architecture reviews.
• Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own software solutions deployed to customers from inception to deployment.
• Develop software across device control, telemetry, storage, APIs, and workflows.
• Handle low-level Linux tasks like board bring-up and device-tree integration.
• Build backend services that connect edge systems with data products.
• Incorporate AI/LLM-enabled workflow enhancements where appropriate.
• Collaborate across software, FPGA, DSP, test, and systems engineering.
• Provide technical leadership and long-term maintainability.
