Job summary

Resonant Link Medical seeks a Senior Embedded Engineer to own embedded implementation for customer programs, adapting firmware across MCU platforms and RTOS environments. You will develop low‑level firmware, hardware interfaces, and diagnostics while collaborating with cross‑functional teams and customers.

You will bring up hardware and software in the lab, diagnose complex hardware‑firmware interactions, and contribute to documentation, test methods, and reusable engineering practices across

Qualifications

• Strong experience in embedded software and firmware development, delivering verified systems on resource‑constrained MCUs.
• Proficiency in embedded C with maintainable production code.
• Interpreting schematics, datasheets, timing diagrams, and hardware specs.
• Hands‑on firmware/hardware bring‑up, debugging, and verification with lab tools.
• Experience with RTOS-based and bare‑metal systems, task scheduling, interrupts, and concurrency.
• Familiarity with MCU peripherals (timers, DMA, hardware compare, ADCs, PWM, GPIO, SPI, I²C, UART).
• Ability to adapt across different MCUs and environments.
• Experience creating hardware‑software interfaces, device drivers, and embedded protocols.
• Problem solving and root cause resolution skills.
• Strong technical documentation and communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Own embedded implementation for customer programs from requirements to delivery.
• Adapt embedded software across customer applications and MCUs in RTOS environments.
• Develop low‑level firmware and hardware interfaces for reliable control and communication.
• Lab‑based bring‑up, test, and debugging of embedded systems with disciplined methods.
• Resolve complex hardware‑firmware interactions across MCUs, sensors, power electronics, and interfaces.
• Produce clear design decisions, interface definitions, test methods, and verification results.
• Collaborate with customers and multidisciplinary teams to meet program requirements.
• Develop test automation and diagnostic tools with platform and test engineers.
• Identify reusable software, tools, and practices across programs.
