ExcelliSearch, Inc. in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join the Software Engineering team on a full-time basis.

Hybrid schedule requires at least 3 days onsite weekly (Mon, Wed, Thu) and participation across device drivers, networking, encryption, and security features. The role emphasizes C programming, Linux kernel driver development, and embedded systems expertise, with responsibilities spanning MAC/Routing protocols, security conformances, testing, and Linux

Qualificações

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or relevant fields.
5+ years of embedded system software development experience.
Expertise in C programming and Linux kernel driver development.

Responsabilidades

Implementation of software portion of MAC and mobile ad-hoc networking routing protocols.
Network management software and web interface implementation.
Implementation of different security protocols and encryption algorithms.
Audio streaming and push to talk voice application implementation.
Analyze and improve product security and robustness to meet regulatory requirements such as NIST FIPS 140-3 and NIAP Common Criteria.
Implementation of testing software for product performance and reliability testing.
Device driver and board support package development and maintenance for ARM and RISC-V based systems.
Linux system customization and scripting.
