Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group seeks an experienced embedded software engineer to design and deploy in-car audio systems featuring Bluetooth, ANR, sensors, and DSP-based processing. You will build modular software that scales across product lines and tackle challenging problems across the full software lifecycle.

The role emphasizes strong Embedded C, device drivers, and the ability to document and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Qualifications

3+ years in real-time embedded software for resource-limited RTOS systems.
Strong Embedded C knowledge (structures, bitfields, unions).
Experience with device drivers and bootloaders.
Good software engineering practices: modularity, reusability, maintainability.
DSP architecture experience (e.g., ADI SHARC).
Clear technical documentation and strong communication skills.
Debugging and root-cause analysis expertise.
Experience with hardware test equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, JTAG).
I2C, SPI, UART, I2S, CAN, Ethernet, MOST, A2B familiarity.
Desire to lead a team of engineers across locations.

Responsibilities

Design, implement and deploy embedded software for in-car audio products with Bluetooth, ANR, sensors.
Design modular, scalable software across product lines.
Analyze complex problems and implement comprehensive solutions.
Contribute to all phases of the software lifecycle: requirements, design, HW bring-up, tests, release, support, docs.
Improve processes and tools to boost quality and efficiency.
