Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and test embedded software for driveline systems. You will work in a team to deliver platform and application software across a diverse product portfolio.

The role emphasizes AUTOSAR component development, C programming, and ASPICE-compliant processes, with collaboration across electronics and hardware teams to ensure feasibility and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, developing and testing software components.
• Experience with AUTOSAR components.
• Ability to align software with hardware requirements.
• Experience developing software in C.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for design, development and testing of software components.
• Develop and configure AUTOSAR components.
• Work closely with the electronics and hardware departments to ensure design of electronics and hardware can support the software requirements.
• Support architecture design and development.
• Create detailed designs to link the software implementation to the requirements.
• Develop software code in C to implement the software design.
• Conduct unit and integration tests to validate the software implementation.
• Support issue analysis and corrective action definitions.
• Develop software in an ASPICE compliant process.
