Job summary

Magnendo Corp. seeks a Senior Embedded Platform Engineer to lead the tools and infrastructure used by our software team to build, test, release, and deploy software for our medical-grade edge compute and robotics platform.

You will drive development infrastructure, cross-compilation environments, and CI pipelines, enabling automated testing on simulators and hardware-in-the-loop, while ensuring regulatory compliance and robust artifact management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in platform engineering, developer infrastructure, devops, or build/release roles with hands-on delivery experience.
• Strong Linux/OS fundamentals and experience with embedded/edge software pipelines.
• Proficient in Python and Bash for internal tooling and automation.
• Experience building and maintaining CI systems, test infra, and release pipelines.
• Ability to design cross-compilation and deployment workflows for medical-grade systems.

Responsibilities

• Be the technical expert for embedded development infrastructure, build systems, and release engineering.
• Design and maintain CI pipelines, including tests and release qualification for medical-grade platforms.
• Develop infrastructure for simulating and testing on hardware-in-loop setups.
• Lead packaging, versioning, and artifact storage to ensure traceability and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with Systems and Quality teams to meet regulatory requirements.
