Job summary

Parry Labs in the Detroit metro area is seeking a Senior Embedded Cybersecurity Engineer to design and implement Zero Trust architectures across edge devices and systems. You will educate customers and internal teams on secure practices and stay current with RMF/ISO standards.

This on-site role includes relocation assistance with a two-year commitment and offers opportunities to work on DoD programs and modern cyber solutions across hardware and software platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS or related field required.
• 5+ years of information systems security engineering experience.
• Knowledge of NIST, RMF, ISO security standards.
• Strong Zero-Trust implementation experience.
• Experience with Linux/Embedded Linux, Windows, or RTOS configurations.

Responsibilities

• Stay current on security standards and industry trends.
• Develop and implement Zero Trust adoption across product lines.
• Coordinate Zero Trust integration with safety requirements and RMF/ATO.
• Prototype and implement advanced security controls for avionics platforms.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify weaknesses.
• Develop and implement security controls to mitigate identified risks.
• Perform security testing and evaluation on unique systems and networks.
• Serve as cyber security technical point of contact for DoD customers.
