Dover Corporation’s Microwave Products Group (Espy) seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join a small, growing team in Austin, TX. The role focuses on a Linux C++ software architecture capturing high-bandwidth signals, with embedded hardware integration and deployment support for customers worldwide.

You will design and implement algorithms, stay abreast of DSP, machine learning, CUDA, and containerization, and mentor junior developers in a fast-moving environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical fields (Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics).
• 10+ years designing and implementing large-scale software in C++ on Linux.
• Experience with high-performance TCP/UDP networking.
• Experience with signal processing and data visualization.
• Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.
• Desirable: Docker, MongoDB, CUDA, JavaScript/NodeJS/React, field travel 2–3 times/yr.

Mansioni

• Design, implement and test C++ software in Linux for embedded systems.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with hardware.
• Lead feature prioritization with engineering and customers; assist with bug fixes.
• Mentor junior developers and provide deployment support worldwide.
