Job summary

Espy, part of Dover Corporation in Austin, TX, seeks a senior Software Engineer to design, implement, and test high-performance Linux C++ software for RF signal capture and streaming to storage.

You will collaborate with hardware teams, apply DSP and visualization, and explore ML techniques, with opportunities for global deployment and occasional travel. A strong background in C++, Linux, and networking is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• 10+ years of professional experience designing and implementing software systems using C++ in a Linux environment.
• Proficiency with high-performance TCP/UDP networking and scripting in Bash and Python.
• Working knowledge of DSP, including filtering, transforms, and data visualization.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and ability to manage tasks under tight schedules.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test high-performance C++ software in Linux across general-purpose and embedded platforms.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with physical components and meet system requirements.
• Develop automation scripts and tools using Python; support feature prioritization with stakeholders.
• Lead testing, debugging, and deployment to a global customer base; drive technical ownership.
