Job summary

Lam Research in California is seeking an Embedded/Business Analyst to lead data-driven process improvements for the Global Operations Analytics Team supporting the Spares Planning unit.

You will collect and analyze data, develop metrics, translate requirements into technical specs, and guide cross-functional teams from roadmap to deployment with UAT support. Hybrid on-site/remote work is available in the SF Bay Area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 8 years of experience designing and developing business applications supporting Global Operations.
• Experience creating data visualizations (reports & dashboards) with Power BI or similar.
• Exposure to SQL or HANA technologies.
• Experience with SAP ECC or other ERP for Spares Planning.
• Advanced statistical techniques and concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Subject matter expertise in Spares Planning and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed business analysis to develop insights and solutions for supported functions.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis for functional stakeholders as required.
• Develop a Functional Analytics Roadmap with the CoE aligning with strategic objectives.
• Develop a resource plan for the function based on the roadmap.
• Serve as functional SPOC with the CoE to define requirements, lead meetings, and translate needs into specs for execution; participate in UAT and post-production support.
• Document technical and functional solutions.
