Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Senior Email Front-End Developer focused on HTML and CSS to deliver customer-facing marketing communications. You will optimize authoring processes and collaborate with business teams to build emails and direct mail using AEM components for home and mobile services.

You will mentor junior developers, test for quality, and drive timely, scalable email programs. AEM 6.5 experience, Jira, and G-Suite proficiency are required in a hybrid role with a defined on-site/remote mix.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four+ years of work experience.
• Six+ years of relevant experience in front-end development.
• Strong leadership and ability to standardize development workflows.
• Proficient in HTML and CSS for email development.
• Experience with AEM 6.5 templates, components, dispatcher, and workflow.
• Experience building emails and using Jira.
• Familiarity with Digital Asset Management and G-Suite.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate complex technical issues and provide actionable guidance.
• Transform business requirements into email/mail communications with HTML/CSS and AEM.
• Develop complex HTML projects and manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Mentor junior developers in email development best practices.
• Test thoroughly and coordinate with QA to resolve defects.
• Collaborate with PMO to provide estimates and timelines.
• Advise on process and technology innovations within AEM ecosystem.
