Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. seeks a Principal Elevated Engineer to act as a client-facing technical advisor, delivering, stabilizing, and optimizing ICE Mortgage Technology solutions for enterprise lending clients.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, guide platform optimization and integrations across the loan lifecycle, and mentor junior staff while supporting complex production issues. This role requires deep Encompass expertise, strong client collaboration, and travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise SaaS or mortgage technology clients.
• 3–5+ years with correspondent lending exposure.
• 7+ years of hands‑on Encompass experience (admin / advanced user).
• Background as Encompass Administrator, Consultant, or Technical Support Engineer.
• Deep understanding of loan lifecycle from origination through delivery.
• Strong stakeholder communication and project management skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Drive resolution of complex production issues, including escalation management and root cause analysis.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for high‑impact correspondent client issues.
• Act as a trusted advisor across ICE Mortgage Technology products, services, APIs, and integrations.
• Guide clients through adoption of new products and transformational initiatives.
• Support correspondent workflows, including loan purchase, delivery, and third‑party originator interactions.
• Lead workflow optimization discussions to reduce funding turn times and improve delivery accuracy.
• Configure and troubleshoot Encompass workflows, forms, and business rules.
• Identify and resolve data mapping issues related to MISMO/XML and investor delivery requirements.
