Job summary

Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Montana seeks a Senior Electrophysiology Technologist to perform advanced EP procedures under physician direction, using fluoroscopy and digital capture to diagnose and treat heart rhythm disorders while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The role requires RCIS/RCES or radiologic tech credentials, MT Radiologic Technologist licensure, national certifications, BLS/ACLS, and at least four years of EP tech experience; benefits are extensive and pay ranges

Qualifications

  • Graduated from an accredited cardiovascular program with RCIS, RCES, or radiographic technology credentials.
  • Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist RCES is required upon hire.
  • Montana Radiologic Technologist license must be obtained upon hire.
  • National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCCI) or ARRT is required upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
  • Minimum 4 years electrophysiology technologist experience demonstrating competencies for SEPT.
  • Knowledge of fluoroscopy and digital image capture is essential.

Job description

Under the leadership of the Department Manager and the supervision of the Cardiovascular Services Supervisor, the Senior Electrophysiology Technologist (SEPT) will, through the utilization of specialized equipment and under the direction of a qualified physician, perform advanced procedures on patients, including fluoroscopy and digital image capture, resulting in the accurate diagnosis and or optimal treatment of congenital or acquired heart arrhythmias while maintaining maximum patient safety and comfort.

Required Qualifications:
  • Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular: RCIS, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, RCES, Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist, or radiographic technology.

  • Upon hire: Montana Radiologic Technologist
  • Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International, or
  • Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

  • 4 years electrophysiology technologist with ability to demonstrate similar competencies as required for employment as a SEPT at St. Patrick Hospital.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Pay Range: $42.75 - $67.50
