Job summary

Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, MT seeks a Senior Electrophysiology Technologist to perform advanced procedures under physician direction, including fluoroscopy and digital image capture, to diagnose and treat congenital or acquired heart arrhythmias while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Under the supervision of the Cardiovascular Services Supervisor, you will support the team in delivering high-quality care and must hold RCIS/RCES or radiographic technology credentials with

Qualifications

• Must hold RCIS, RCES, or radiographic technology credentials.
• Montana Radiologic Technologist on hire.
• National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCCI) or from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• National Provider BLS and ACLS certifications required on hire.
• Minimum 4 years electrophysiology technologist experience with competencies comparable to SEPT at St. Patrick Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced electrophysiology procedures under physician direction.
• Utilize fluoroscopy and digital imaging to diagnose and treat heart arrhythmias.
• Ensure maximum patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Collaborate with Cardiovascular Services team to deliver high-quality care.

Job description

Under the leadership of the Department Manager and the supervision of the Cardiovascular Services Supervisor, the Senior Electrophysiology Technologist (SEPT) will, through the utilization of specialized equipment and under the direction of a qualified physician, perform advanced procedures on patients, including fluoroscopy and digital image capture, resulting in the accurate diagnosis and or optimal treatment of congenital or acquired heart arrhythmias while maintaining maximum patient safety and comfort.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular: RCIS, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, RCES, Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist, or radiographic technology.
