Job summary

Orlando Health Wiregrass Ranch Hospital in Wesley Chapel, FL is seeking an Electrophysiology Tech III to perform diagnostic imaging and procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab, delivering direct patient care and supporting physicians during electrophysiology studies and interventions.

The ideal candidate will have EP lab experience, current BLS/ACLS, and appropriate cardiovascular certifications, be able to precept staff, maintain equipment, and uphold safety standards while ensuring patient comfort

Qualifications

• Three years hospital EP Lab experience required.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS may be required.
• Valid RCES or RCIS certification, CI, or equivalent degree/experience.
• Must possess and maintain licensure appropriate to role in applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in the EP lab and during diagnostics/interventions.
• Assists physician during electrophysiology procedures and maintains sterile technique.
• Evaluates equipment function and reports issues to Biomed or vendor as needed.
• Ensures patient understanding, education, safety, and comfort throughout procedures.
• Documents patient care accurately and maintains regulatory standards.
• Monitors physiological data and supports case turnover within department standards.
