Job summary

Orlando Health in Lakeland, FL is seeking an Electrophysiology Tech II to assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional EP procedures, preparing equipment, monitoring patients, and maintaining sterile technique.

This role requires EP lab experience, relevant certifications, and the ability to work dayshift with no on-call. You will collaborate with the EP team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care across procedures.

Qualifications

• Requires EP Lab experience and competency in patient care.
• BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS may be required depending on unit needs.
• Must possess and maintain cardiovascular or radiography certifications as listed.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care
• Delivers appropriate patient care and demonstrates competency during procedures
• Serves as a preceptor/charge when needed
• Demonstrates knowledge of EP protocols and equipment use
• Ensures patient understanding and safety during procedures
• Documents patient care and ensures accurate data recording
• Maintains sterile technique and infection control
• Maintains equipment, prompts for risk management as needed
• Ensures case turnover within department standards
• Maintains regular attendance and compliance with policies
