Orlando Health Wiregrass Ranch Hospital in Wesley Chapel, FL seeks an Electrophysiology Tech III to join the Cardiac Cath Lab. The role focuses on diagnostic imaging and hard teaching of complex cardiovascular procedures, delivering advanced patient care, and assisting physicians during EP cases.

The ideal candidate will perform tasks with proficiency in EP protocols, maintain equipment, and ensure patient safety and education throughout the procedure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; RCES/CI certification or equivalent credential.
• RCES/RCIS or RCIS certification; RCIS certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or science related field.
• NBRC Paramedic or related licensure may be substituted with appropriate clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in the electrophysiology lab.
• Demonstrates competency with Bloom stimulator and EP protocols.
• Ensures patient safety, education, and comfort during procedures.
• Maintains equipment by troubleshooting and coordinating with Biomed or vendors.
• Documents care, assessments, and records accurately and timely.
• Supports physician as scrub assistant and assists with sterile technique.
