Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Cardiovascular Technologist to support the Cardiac Cath Lab team. The role involves performing and assisting with procedures under physician supervision, patient monitoring, and accurate documentation of the clinical picture.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of Cardiovascular/Cardiopulmonary technology program.
• ARRT certification or related field required; licensure or certification must be obtained if not current.
• Graduate of an Interventional/Cardiovascular program or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates evidence-based practice and performs care for the patient.
• Performs and/or assists with treatments, therapies and procedures under physician supervision.
• Administers medication under physician supervision as appropriate.
• Documents current clinical picture and records in patient chart.
• Conveys relevant information to physicians and teammates.
• Calculates, interprets and analyzes data.
• Contributes to policy and standards of care reflecting current practice.
• Encouraged to participate in committee and governance activities.
