Nidec Defense Group seeks an Engineering Technician III to assist engineering in the development, evaluation, and testing of electronic motor controls. This role sets up electrical, environmental, and agency tests to support design qualification in a professional lab environment.

Reporting to the Test Engineering Supervisor, you will assemble prototypes, modify components, record data, and help maintain a safe, efficient lab. Strong communication and hands-on skills are essential.

Qualifications

• ASEET or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years experience with electrical components and schematics.
• Experience in electronics lab environment with soldering preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Set up and perform electrical, environmental, and agency testing of electronic motor controls.
• Prepare test setups, record data and test results.
• Modify prototypes and assemblies to correct functional deviations using drawings and BOMs.
• Assemble prototypes of electronic motor controls and operate lab equipment.
• Coordinate international and domestic shipment of items to customers and suppliers.
