Job summary

Nidec Motor Corporation in St. Louis, MO is seeking a hands-on Lab Technician to set up, test, and analyze motors to agency specs in an ISO-accredited Lab.

You will perform automated and manual tests on electric motors, calibrate equipment, prepare thermocouples, and help maintain a clean, 6S compliant work area. Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Engineering or 2 years related experience with electrical/mechanical devices.
  • Desire to learn new processes and systems.
  • Ability to make spreadsheets and graphs.
  • Work as a supportive team member.
  • Familiarity with electronic test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
  • Good hands-on skills including soldering and mechanical assembly.
  • Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills.

Job Summary
