Job summary

Boarhog is seeking an Electronics Technician (ET) - Maintenance Level II or III, ideally based in Anchorage, to support federally contracted requirements in Alaska. This role performs testing and maintenance on ATG, alarm, overfill, and ground verification systems on DoD installations across Alaska, coordinating travel, maintaining parts, and communicating with the team and leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Formal electronics training from a qualifed program is required.
• Four years of electronics apprenticeship and four years practical experience are expected.
• Certifications and/or proficiency with equipment manufacturers and UST licenses must be established within five months.
• Must be able to acquire required certifications within the region at hire or relocation.
• Ability to travel extensively within Alaska is required.

Responsibilities

• Test and maintain Automatic Tank Gauging, Independent Alarm, Overfill, and Ground Verification systems.
• Troubleshoot faults and repair electronic components and electrical systems.
• Coordinate travel to work sites and maintain on-hand parts and safety equipment.
• Communicate with dispatchers, installation teams, and leadership to elevate issues and manage schedules.
• Keep organized, detailed records of work performed.
