Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 4 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit in the Washington, DC area.

The role focuses on installing, integrating, and maintaining electronic security services including intrusion detection, access control, video surveillance, and CCTV systems for federal, local, and commercial clients. Qualified candidates will have 8+ years in electronics installation, 3 years in security systems, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to travel

Qualifications

• 8+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems and customer programs.
• 3 years of the above focusing on electronic security systems.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electronic security systems; perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Lead teams on large complex installation projects with limited supervision.
• Document daily reports, project progress and RFIs; manage project schedule and resources.
• Program and install head-end equipment for access control, intrusion detection and CCTV systems.
• Travel up to 50% and mentor technicians across local and global levels.
