Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) team in California. The role involves on-site installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electronic security systems for federal, local, and commercial customers.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of electronics installation/maintenance, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams. Travel up to 25% and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems and customer programs
• Able to travel up to 25% as needed
• Requires a HS diploma or GED with electronics training or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Configure hardware and software, test systems for proper operation, and provide customer support.
• Lead commissioning efforts and coordinate with owners and design teams.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain documentation across projects.
