Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 4 to join the Security and Electronic Systems unit. You will lead installation projects, program and commission security systems, and coordinate across local and global teams.

Required are 8+ years in electronics installation/maintenance, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 50%. A HS diploma/GED plus electronics training or related programs are required; MS Office skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong oral, written and presentation skills are required.
• HS diploma or GED is required; military electronics training or electronics technician/electrical apprenticeship programs are preferred.
• An additional three years of electronics installation/maintenance experience is required.
• Travel up to 50% is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams on large, complex install projects with limited supervision.
• Document daily toolbox talks, ORMs and safety audits.
• Install and maintain equipment per design packages at local and global levels.
• Program and install head end equipment for Access Control, IDS and CCTV systems.
• Troubleshoot systems and hardware at local and global levels.
• Lead on-site software commissioning and testing.
• Document RFIs and project progress; provide design feedback.
• Mentor technicians and manage project schedules.
