Job summary

JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy.

The Electronic Technician III role focuses on installing, maintaining, repairing, and testing ground-based electronic systems and related devices. The position requires an associate degree or higher (or equivalent military training) and ISCET certification, with DoD 8140 and Cisco certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher from an accredited college; or technical schooling with math, electronics, microwave theory; or military equivalent with 7+ years hands-on experience.
• ISCET certification is required.
• Experience with tubes, transistors, logic gates, and high-power RF devices.
• Expert-level troubleshooting and soldering capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain electronic transmitting/receiving equipment and related systems.
• Apply electronic principles to diagnose and repair equipment using schematics and test equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs to restore operation.
• Interpret computer displays and manipulate keyboards.
• Troubleshoot to component level and perform needed repairs.
• Provide occasional guidance to lower-level technicians.
• Perform other job-related duties as required.
