Job summary

JT4, LLC, a provider of engineering and technical support to western test ranges for the DoD, seeks an Electronic Technician III to install, maintain, repair, overhaul and test ground‑based electronic systems.

Under general guidance, you will operate transmit/receive gear, perform troubleshooting to component level, and assist lower‑level technicians. A DoD 8140 cert and Cisco cert are desired; an associate degree or higher with seven years of hands‑on electronics experience is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in a related field, or technical schooling with math, basic electronics, and microwave theory, or military equivalent with 7+ years hands-on experience.
• ISCET certification
• Experience with tubes, transistors, logic gates, and high-power RF devices
• Expert-level troubleshooting and soldering capabilities

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain electronic transmitting and receiving equipment, digital and analog computers, and related devices.
• Apply electronic principles using diagrams, schematics, engineering data, and test equipment.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform repairs to restore operation.
• Troubleshoot to component level and perform needed repairs.
• Assist and/or provide occasional work direction to lower-level technicians.
• Perform other job-related duties as required.
