Job summary

Baltimore County Public Schools is seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to analyze, install, repair, and test intercom and public address systems across schools and offices. You will coordinate with contractors, train end users, and keep detailed records of work, parts, and time spent.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least four years of electronic repair experience, plus a valid Maryland driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Four years’ experience in electronic repair, testing, & modification.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, programs, and maintains intercom systems.
• Maintains public address and audio/visual equipment; clocks and data wiring.
• Assists with project management and coordinates with contractors.
• Communicates with administrators and staff to ensure professional service.
• Records work, time, and materials; inventories parts.
• Provides PA system setup for events and trains end users.
