Job summary

Aetos Systems, Inc. in Merritt Island, FL is seeking a Transmission Electronic Technician to lead fabrication, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of communication systems.

You will interpret drawings and schematics, supervise a small team on-site, and coordinate with engineering and management to meet project milestones. The role requires an AS/Tech in electronics or related field and at least 6 years of related experience or approved apprenticeship; U.S.

Qualifications

• Understanding electrical theory and performing circuit diagnostics.
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and pass NASA background check.
• Must pass initial and random drug test.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with other crafts to ensure job completeness and troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret work orders, drawings, schematics, and notes.
• Use test equipment and schematics to troubleshoot problems at LRU or component level.
• Fabrication, installation, repair, and maintenance of telecommunication systems and equipment.
• Perform software upgrades on sustaining systems.
• Install, maintain, test, and troubleshoot transmission systems (copper, fiber, Ethernet).
• Provide, update, and maintain documentation and logs.
• Suggest improvements to quality, efficiency, and productivity.
• Adhere to OSHA, NASA, and customer safety requirements.
