Job summary

Aetos Systems, Inc. on Merritt Island, FL is seeking a Cable & Wire Technician to install, terminate, test and maintain copper and fiber optic cabling for communications systems on-site.

The role requires journeylevel expertise with fiber/copper work, schematics literacy, and a clean NASA background. Valid Florida license and drug testing are mandatory. You will work in varied environments and contribute to safe, compliant installations.

Qualifications

• Journeylevel capability to perform cable and wire work independently.
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and pass NASA background check.
• Must pass initial and random drug testing.
• Must have and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Install, splice, terminate and test fiber/copper cable systems.
• Perform underground construction for cable paths.
• Fabricate and install cable pathways and trays.
• Operate directional boring, trencher and related equipment.
• Maintain required documentation and logs.
• Adhere to OSHA, NASA, and customer safety requirements.
