Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. in the Washington, DC area is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 within the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit to install, troubleshoot, and maintain high‑security electronic systems for federal and commercial clients.

You will lead on-site work, configure hardware and software, coordinate with Owners and design teams, and ensure safety and quality while advancing commissioning efforts and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Active SECRET clearance required and ability to obtain Top Secret
• US citizenship may be required for access to sensitive information
• HS diploma or GED required, plus electronics-focused training or apprenticeship

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of electronic security systems
• Configure hardware and software, test systems, and provide customer support
• Supervise daily operations, manage subcontractors, enforce safety protocols
• Lead commissioning efforts and coordinate with owners and design teams
• Maintain safety compliance and document activities
