Job summary

Curtiss-Wright in Farmingdale, NY seeks a Senior Solderer to perform soldering and assembly on electronic modules and wiring. Work from standard instructions and drawings to produce high-quality assemblies in a structured setting.

The role requires precise manual workmanship, familiarity with MIL-STD-2000A and J-STD-001J, and the ability to follow detailed documentation. Benefits include PTO, 401K with matches, health and development programs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in hand soldering and electronic assembly techniques.
• Ability to follow written work instructions and basic engineering docs.
• Ability to safely use basic hand tools and production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex soldering and related assembly operations on electronic and related assemblies per instructions and specs.
• Builds and tests components, wires, terminals, connectors, circuit boards for soldering and assembly.
• Assembles components to final configured product.
• Sets up and uses soldering irons, rework equipment, microscopes, fixtures and other tools as trained.
• Follows engineering drawings and process specs; completes required documentation.
• May attend off-site training and perform off-site service calls.
