Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• 10+ years in mechanical engineering with electronics packaging in the defense industry.
• Proficient in CAD (Creo) and simulation (ANSYS) for mechanical analysis.
• Familiar with MIL-STD and defense regulations.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of electronics packaging for reliability in harsh environments.
• Perform thermal, vibration, and stress analyses to validate designs.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers to integrate packaging with components.
• Oversee prototyping, testing, and validation against performance criteria.
• Document design processes, materials specs, and testing protocols.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor project plans, deadlines, and budgets.
• Coordinate export-control documentation and compliance.
