Job summary

Lenovo is seeking a Sr. Operational Manager to lead manufacturing operations at the Whitsett, North Carolina facility.

You will drive performance across production, quality, delivery, inventory, cost, safety, and workforce leadership in a high-volume electronics environment. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in manufacturing leadership within server/enterprise hardware or data-center hardware contexts, with strong Lean/Six Sigma and NPI experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering/operations management.
10+ years leadership in manufacturing/plant operations.
Experience in technology/electronics/server/enterprise hardware environments.

Responsibilities

Lead all manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality, delivery, inventory, cost, and safety objectives.
Direct daily production execution, staffing, equipment, materials, capacity and resource allocation across complex assembly and test operations.
Serve as senior operational leader for the facility, establish standards, drive accountability and disciplined execution.
Lead and develop managers, supervisors, engineers, technicians, and production personnel.
Drive Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and other CI initiatives to improve OEE, yield, throughput, and costs.
Establish, monitor, and improve KPIs through data-driven reviews across productivity, quality, safety, delivery, cost, and inventory.
