Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Melbourne, FL seeks a Principal/Sr. Principal Electronics Engineer - Mission Processing to design, integrate and certify hardware and software for mission-critical systems.

Relocation assistance may be available; travel 10%; on-site only. The selected engineer will interpret requirements, model architectures and perform hardware–software integration, with collaboration across IPTs and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years of related experience or Master's with 3+ years.
• Experience in model-based systems engineering and mission processing.
• Active Secret clearance or eligibility and ability to obtain Top Secret.

Responsibilities

• Document designs with schematics, diagrams and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to integrate subsystems.
• Technical management of suppliers, including SBIRs, specs and SOWs.
• Develop supplier docs, performance specs and evaluation criteria.
• Lead reviews and conduct TRL assessments and testing.
