Your Contribution

As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will apply electrical engineering principles to design, develop, test, and improve advanced infrared camera systems and related electronic hardware. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new technologies from concept through production while contributing to innovative solutions that advance Teledyne FLIR's industry-leading thermal imaging products. What You Will Do

• Design and develop high-performance printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), including schematic capture and board layout
• Contribute to FPGA firmware design and development efforts
• Test, validate, troubleshoot, and improve electronic hardware designs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, technicians, and product managers
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, project reviews, and technical discussions
• Develop, document, and protect innovative intellectual property
• Create technical documentation including product manuals, application notes, and technical reports
• Support the development of next-generation thermal imaging technologies

What You Will Need

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Experience designing, developing, and troubleshooting electronic hardware and PCBAs
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication, presentation, and technical writing skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have, But Not Required)

• FPGA design and development experience
• Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer or similar platforms
• Experience with FPGA development tools such as Intel/Altera Quartus or similar platforms
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and collaboration tools
