Rolls-Royce is seeking a Senior Electronics Design Engineer—Simulation in West Lafayette, IN. You will develop and test hardware for Hardware-in-the-Loop real‑time simulators to validate engine control and monitoring systems through the full product life cycle.

The role involves multi‑discipline collaboration, requirements tracing, and software controls for hardware integration. Relocation is available; travel is up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in STEM/Electronics/Electrical Eng with applicable hardware design experience
• U.S. citizen required
• Willingness to travel up to 20% between sites and up to 10% other travel

Responsibilities

• Develop and troubleshoot electrical hardware simulations for Hardware-in-the-Loop real-time simulator tests
• Perform trade study analyses and tolerance analyses to support design accuracy
• Develop software controls for hardware integration
• Perform requirements-based product decomposition, development, traceability and assurance
• Compile functional descriptions and design assurance test results for certifying authorities
