Saab AB in the United States is seeking an Electronics Commodity Management Professional to lead strategic sourcing for electronics across multiple business units. The role focuses on developing category strategies, supplier onboarding, spend analysis, and risk management to strengthen the supply base and support international operations.

Ideal candidates have strong financial acumen, a robust electronics background, and proven leadership and presentation abilities.

Qualificações

• BA/BS in Supply Chain Management or Engineering or equivalent is required.
• 8+ years with a BA/BS, or 6+ years with a Master’s degree, of experience in Sourcing or Supply Chain Management is required.
• Strong financial acumen especially related to sourcing and supply chain.
• Strong electronics technical background.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Leadership and presentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop commodity category strategies to drive value in Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation, and Sustainability.
• Lead supplier identification, evaluation, selection, negotiation, and award for first-time contracts.
• Manage approved supplier list for electronics commodities.
• Support supply chain during win business process by onboarding critical suppliers.
• Analyze data to understand supply base and commodity categories.
• Perform market research and analyze trends for electronics or other categories.
• Identify risks and opportunities within electronics through SWOT and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with Saab affiliates to determine near and long-term needs.
• Create adaptable supply chain for electronics commodities.
• Lead supplier evaluations to understand supplier capabilities and processes.
• Conduct spend analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities and lead initiatives.
• Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews for critical suppliers.
• Support Small Business objectives and promote diverse supplier base.
• Collaborate to develop supplier evaluation and scoring system for data-driven decisions.
• Develop or modify SOPs and work instructions.
