Job summary

Celestica Inc. is seeking a Production Operator 3 to perform hand soldering, assembly, and testing in a fast-paced production environment. The role requires operating and maintaining semi-automatic and automated equipment, moving between products as scheduled, and ensuring quality standards are met.

Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate issues to Team Leader are essential. Typical candidates have 3–5 years of relevant experience and a high school diploma with additional courses

Qualifications

Three to five years relevant experience.
High school diploma with additional courses after high school or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess specific certifications as defined by site operations.

Responsibilities

Performs hand soldering and manual assembly and operates and maintains assembly equipment.
Moves between operations/products as schedule dictates and inspects products.
Uses diagnostic programs to test electronic products and perform functional testing.
Identifies and communicates issues with defects to Team Leader.
Maintains accurate records and learns quality and process requirements.
