Job summary

Celestica Inc. is seeking a Production Operator 3 for the 2nd shift to perform hand soldering, manual assembly, and operation of assembly equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with additional courses after high school, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three to five years relevant experience in production/manufacturing.
• Experience with hand soldering, assembly processes and basic equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Performs hand soldering; manual assembly; setup, operation, and basic maintenance of semi-automatic and automatic assembly equipment and tools; operate automated test units.
• Moves between operations as schedule dictates.
• Inspects product using visual, automated, electronic and mechanical inspection procedures.
• Performs electronic and functional testing using diagnostic programs; communicates issues to Team Leader.
