Job summary

Ball Systems is seeking an Electronics Assembly Technician to build advanced custom test equipment, prototype fixtures, and rack-mount test cabinets for avionics, military/defense, and medical equipment sectors. You will assemble, wire, modify, and test electromechanical systems from drawings and customer specs.

This role suits experienced electronics technicians who enjoy variety, quality craftsmanship, and a custom-build environment where no two projects look alike.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics/electromechanical assembly preferred (5–10 years).
• Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Hands-on wiring, crimping, soldering, harness building, testing.

Responsibilities

• Assemble custom prototype fixtures and test equipment to spec.
• Read customer specifications, SOWs, and drawings for builds.
• Build and wire control panels; perform mechanical modifications.
• Test assemblies with DMMs/oscilloscopes and power supplies.
• Create custom cable assemblies and 19" rack-mount stands.
