First Call Staffing is seeking an Electronics Assembly Technician to build custom test equipment, prototype fixtures, and rack-mount cabinets. You will read schematics, wire panels, and perform mechanical modifications while collaborating with Project Engineers and Managers on diverse projects.

The role emphasizes hands-on assembly, quality workmanship, and attention to detail on varying builds and customer specs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of electronics, electromechanical, or related assembly experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Hands-on experience with crimping, wire termination, soldering, cable and harness assembly, and electrical/mechanical assembly.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire custom test equipment and prototype fixtures.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Build and wire control panels; perform mechanical modifications.
• Crimp and terminate electrical connectors; PCB soldering is a plus.
• Assemble 19" rack-mount test cabinets and perform functional testing.
• Inspect wiring and assemblies for quality; follow project requirements.
• Support small-scale production of electronic devices; keep work area organized.
